One of my favorite tools...
Of course, I am a huge believer in the Origami Day planning tools. They changed my life and have stood the test of time (I've been using them for over 10 years now). One of the reasons I love them is the simplicity. It helps me fight overwhelm in a very cluttered and hyper-connected world. But sometimes, I need more than paper.
I've said for years, I am definitely pro-paper, but I am not anti-tech. At this point in our society, you really can't be anti-tech. BUT, not all tech is created the same and some digital tools are certainly far superior to others.
Therefore, I'd like to introduce you to WorkFlowy, a deceptively simple tool built around one idea: start with thoughts, add structure later. Like the Origami Day tools, simplicity is at the core of it's magic.
Instead of forcing you into folders, documents, or rigid systems, WorkFlowy gives you an infinite nested outline, like an endless sheet of paper. Jot down ideas, then collapse, reorganize, and refine them as they grow. In my time using it, I've loved the ability to have order without constraint.
It makes it easy to:
- Capture ideas quickly
- Reorganize as your thinking evolves
- Zoom in to focus on what matters
- Search everything instantly
- Keep all your thinking in one digital place
For many people, this is a welcome contrast to productivity tools that have become complex and overwhelming to manage. Similar to my Planner Book, it lets you capture ideas, find them easily, and shape them over time.
I love it so much, I have to share it with you. After years of trying ALL THE THINGS, I have found it to be the perfect digital companion to the Origami Day Planning System.
Simple. Flexible. Give it a try.
